Wesley was born and raised in the rural town of Farmington, New Mexico, in the northwestern corner of the state. He graduated with honors from New Mexico State University in 2012 before attending the University of Cambridge for a master’s degree in Criminology. After completion of his master’s degree he settled into Albuquerque, New Mexico to begin his pre-law career working for the state judiciary. In 2018 he moved to Austin to work for the Texas Legislative Council for a year before moving to Norman, Oklahoma for law school.
While attending the University of Oklahoma College of Law, he was active as a member and Managing Editor of the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Journal (“ONE-J”), the Business Law Society; as Historian, and competed in moot court competitions. Wesley Joined Muery & Farrell in September 2022, as a Law Clerk as he awaits results from the July 2022 Bar Exam.
Wesley lives in Austin with the best canine companion, Ringo, that anyone could ask for. He enjoys stand-up comedy and going to the gym.
