Cassie received her associate degree from Delta College. Cassie has 16-years’ experience in civil litigation and family law litigation in Michigan and Texas.

In 2005, Cassie left a long retail management career and began her legal career as a file clerk at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Bay City, MI while attending school. Cassie began working for a private law firm in Midland, MI doing civil litigation and creditor bankruptcy work. In 2013, Cassie moved to Texas and became a legal assistant at Corbin & Associates in Killeen, TX. After eight years working at a boutique law firm in Georgetown, Cassie joined Muery & Farrell, PC in March 2021.

Cassie has worked in a variety of fields including bankruptcy, eviction, landlord/tenant cases, vehicle title suits, employment discrimination, malpractice, deceptive trade practices disputes, personal injury, divorce, custody, child support, adoptions, guardianships and paternity suits. She handles a wide range of contested and non-contested family law matters at Muery & Farrell, PC including divorces, custody disputes, paternity issues, child support enforcement, property divisions, modifications, adoptions, child protective services cases, prenuptial agreements and postnuptial agreements.

Cassie’s loves being a paralegal because the law is ever-changing, “every day you learn something new” and she truly cares about offering the highest level of care to our clients. She enjoys working closely with our clients to find simple, practical solutions to divorce, custody, possession, enforcement, and/or financial problems. Her care and experience bring a unique, out of the box style when creating client relationships, analyzing case issues, and assisting clients and attorneys to settle their disputes.

Away from the office, Cassie is an active member of her daughter’s Parent Teacher Organization. She enjoys crochet, reading, camping, fishing, museums, and spending time with her husband, five children and three grandchildren.
